Pristine & Modified Fullerenes in Perovskite Solar Cells

Juan Luis Delgado obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry at UCLM (Spain) in 2004 under the supervision of Prof. F. Langa (RSC Fellow). Afterwards, he joined the group of Prof. J.-F. Nierengarten (RSC Fellow), at the ECPM-CNRS (Strasbourg, France) where he worked as a postdoctoral fellow. He then joined the group of Prof. N. Martín (RSC Fellow) at University Complutense of Madrid as a “Juan de la Cierva” postdoctoral researcher. From 2008 to 2014 he was a Senior “Ramón & Cajal” Researcher at IMDEA-Nanoscience (Madrid, Spain). In 2013 he was awarded with the “Young Researcher Award” of RSEQ (Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry)-Lilly Spain and the “Emerging Investigator Award” of RSEQ (Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry)-Sigma-Aldrich Spain. His research interest is mainly focused on the synthesis of organic materials suitable for their utilization in organic photovoltaics, dye sensitized solar cells, light harvesting, artificial photosynthetic systems, and perovskite-based solar devices.

Juan Luis Delgado is an Ikerbasque Research fellow and leader of the Hybrid Materials for Photovoltaics group at POLYMAT in the University of the Basque Country (Spain) since 2014. Juan Luis Delgado has published more than 80 publications (h-Index 27 > 3000 citations) in highly prestigious international journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Ang. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem. Soc. Rev, Energy & Environ. Sci., Chem. Sci., Adv. Energy Mater. and several book chapters.
